Your post made me think about DDJ #18. It also points to your Taoist nature in that your view of superficial morality is shared here.

It seems to me, that energy field just might be the opposite of peace. And peace will phase in after the next holocaust.
A side note: At the PGA tournament last week gar observed quiet crowds that seemed to generate peacefulness. Words can calm or excite, but softness might be the mother of peace.
