I have written that there is a good chance that I have been mistaken about everything that I have written. That includes the double-walk. And therefore I conclude that you might be right.
Secondly, there is a differnce between prescriptive privileging and descriptive privileging. Descriptive privileging merely states that "if I do A, the result will be B."
For example: "If I pour water on my head, my head will be wet." There is no "should" in this case. A "should" would make it precsriptive.
