Following the bobcat prints that followed the deer prints the flute player found himself standing on the bridge over Deer Creek. As he stood in utter silentness, the frozen forest calmness prevailed. Looking up at the cold cloudy sky the sun broke through long enough that its warmth was felt. It seems that the forest also felt its warmth as the Juncos played their little game of fly/jump from tree branch to branch.
Buried in the deep snow even pu gong ying realized the spirit of the cycle. With no-mind to distract pu gong ying and only the spirit to guide it, it listened to the change that was taking place.
As the sun warmed the flute players fingers he started playing his flute while looking at his footsteps in the snow.
Listen up, pu gong ying, hopefully I'll play a tune that resonates with spirit so we can harmonize with the sound of change.
Playing his favorite tune, the mourning dove call, coo00oo-woo-woo-woooo, the sun hidden behind the clouds again the flute player hiked home.
in peace,
