Friends,
In Wei Wu Wei's book "Ask The Awakened" he quotes Chuang Tzu at the beginning of his chapter on "The Negative Way". It is to this quote that I point:
"The being
Of separate beings
Is non-separate being."
Chuang-Tse
Wei Wu Wei starts the chapter by stating that
"It is necessary to understand that I Am,
In order that I may know that I Am Not,
So that, at last, I may realize that
I Am Not, therefore I Am."
Wei Wu Wei talked funny.
"Partial means Whole". Lao Tzu talked funny too.
"Nirvana is the same as Samsara". Buddha.
"From the first nothing is". Hui-Neng.
Where split-mind sees Samsara, whole-mind sees Nirvana". Steve.
Well, it sounded like something Steve might have said.
Of course it couldn't possibly have been him since he hasn't been himself for quite some time now.
... Ok, I will get to the point. Does anyone know where Wei Wu Wei got his quote from in the Chuang Tzu? Nina, ren ying, rat, josef, gar, Wayne L, anyone? No one? Some one?
This is an open book quiz that might have an impact on your final grade if there ever is one.
"We do not possess an "ego".
We are possessed by the idea of one." Wei Wu Wei.
