I'm not sure why it matters if Steve is a closet Christian. I'm not an Orthodox Taoist, so I don't believe in the Heavenly Court, spirits, etc. I know it's entirely possible to be a Christian and a Taoist. I have a friend that believes in J.C. as the son of God, and also the teaching of Lao Tzu. There really is no reason why someone can't be both or needs to be ashamed of being one. As for my beliefs, they are my own, and I will share what I wish to share.
