: Do you suppose that the ten thousand things
: act like guests because we have no
: permanence and all things are fluid?
:
: in peace,

:
:
: please use code
:
: utf 8
:
: This is an interesting question...
: one could understand it as if dao and
: tenthousand things have a personal mutual
: relationship...
: but this would not harmonize with ddj5...
: i think this:
: the quote is from ddj 32
: line one points to chang wu
: remembering the definition of chang in ddj
: 16
: 萬物并作
: 吾以觀復
:
: 夫物芸芸
: 各復歸其根
:
: 歸根曰靜
: 靜曰復命
:
: 復命曰常
: it is the merging... the interaction of
: pairs (并作) which is leading to an action
: of nature for harmonizing the polarisation
: to have a chance for this feature
: tenthousand things behave like guests...
: will say
: there is interaction, respect, honouring the
: opposite and a looking for complementing...
:
: but of course - there is no personal
: relationship
: alike of a host and a guest
:
: and of course:
: as it is said in yijing:
: there is an everlasting change...
:
: Daodejing 16
:
: Thanks for your response, ren ying.
:
: There is something i would like to try and
: understand.
:
: In our realationship with oneness,
: "double cocoons hanging under
: Oneness",
: does one find harmony with oneness by
: blending Wu and Yu state?
:
: I guess by blending, i mean, not residing in
: one but both simultaneously?
:
: in peace,
: gar
:
:
gar,
I think a better word here might be "integrated" than "blended".
Two ends of a string are integrated by their underlying unity. Each end retains its uniqueness but not at the other's expense.
Mountains are mountains again.
Insightful dialogue between you and ren ying.
