I'm not making excuses, Butch. I read Walker's Hua Hu Ching, and I think it's a crock! Why would I have a copy of it?
Words are delightful tools to express what we're thinking, feeling, experiencing. I say "we" because I enjoy writing words and listening to the words of others. I think most people (even you) enjoy using them too? You do use them a lot here.
WTF is that from Walker's HHC....... "holistic wisdom"? "A plain natural life"? That's Daoist Religion to the max. If you really believe that, why don't you go live in a tent, pump your own water and weave your own cloth? And you might as well throw away your computer 'cause there'll be no electricity.
That's not extremist? Suggesting giving up all the wonderful things our intelligence (and that of others) has provided to bring us more joy and happiness?
You might look to Zhuangzi with a more tongue-in-cheek attitude. Or not.
