You had to learn how to breathe, Butcho? You needed a master to show you how?
Not me. I find what Laozi found--that sometimes breathing is easy, sometimes not. Sometimes things go well, sometimes they don't. Sometimes I'm wise, sometimes I'm foolish. The arrangement seems just peachy to me.
Your breathing practice makes you feel healthier and wiser, and that's reason enough to continue doing it. I exercise everyday, because that makes me feel better too.
My breathing can take care of itself.
