Ahhhhhh....... lovely chapter 16.
I hear you, Lian Dao, about being able to observe what naturally happens around me. There's still a "me" observing it.
I also think Laozi is suggesting to me that I have a delightful part in the universe around me. All I have to do is find what "naturally" suits me best and enjoy what "naturally" suits all the other 10,000 things best.
But I don't cuddle up to the idea of simply being an observer. Is that what you're suggesting?
