Yes, and that is why I cultivate. To get rid of the weeds. Or at least to keep them from taking over. I try not to become anal about something without becoming anal about it. Moderation in all things, including moderation.
Personally, I do not ever want to get so enlightened that shit no longer stinks. I like being able to tell sugar from vinegar. With that said, life is bitter/sweet. So I think your point is sound, just maybe find a better way of stating it if you want others to understand where you are coming from.
The smell of shit adds to my enjoyment of the smell of roses. Short measures long. But I still don't want to live next door to a sewage treatment plant. I would rather get used to the smell of a rose than to the smell of shit. I have preferences. As does the Way.
