It isn't that there is no true self. It is that the self that has been sold to us is not the true self. It is a case of mistaken identity.
The true Self is not a self in the self/other sense of a self. But there is always a sense of self. Even when there is no longer an exclusive identity with the conditioned self, the ego, there remains a new sense of self that is not selfish.
We do not end at our skin. Everything is interconnected. A unitive one. The Whole. A synergy greater than the sum of its parts. There is more than one of us my solipsistic friend, it is just that there is not two of us either. More than one, less than two, undivided. Nondual Magic.
