Stupidity is neither fun nor easy. Hence the immeasurable amount of miserable, stupid people who inhabit this planet and who go to such great lengths to make their stupidity look like hard, highly specialised work which only they themselves are capable of doing, thus proving themselves and the particular group that they may also identify with, to be better than any one elses.
The history of our species is little more than a series of random stupid events brought on by knee-jerk, impulsive, irrational behaviours which all responsibilty to are passed over to the seemingly external abstractive concepts of greed (economics), hatred (politics) and delusion (religion). When observed from the vantage point of hindsight, this consistently impulsive, irrational behaviour appears to have the semblance of meaning, which gives further and continued purpose to the stupidity that drives our species ever onward.
