: Hi Steve
:
: The question is: how much of the day do I

:
: No one can answer these questions unless
: they spend time with one of us and see if we
: actually embody "nothing to do."
:
: But then we might get some clues from how

:
: There's nothing wrong with strident,
: passionate living. Those who suggest
: otherwise must be cryogenically frozen and
: gotten out of the way, so that the rest of
: us can be strident and passionate to our
: hearts' content.
:
: "The question is: how much of the day

:
: Here we are back to the 'gap,' discussion of
: which has been known to send you into a
: metaphysical tizzy, rat.
:
: I say...I do not have to 'know' that I am
: home and safe to experience the underlying
: peace and contentment that comes with my
: faith that I am home and safe, regardless
: of what my chemistry informs me.
:
: My chemistry is my friend. I would not
: change one iota, one neuron of it. It
: shelters and protects me. It ensures that
: when I go to bed at night and dream, I will
: awake the next morning.
:
: "And there may be things I can do to
: further embody that
: "unpacking.""
:
: There may indeed be things we can do.
:
: I suggest only that if you see the other
: shore, you are already there.
:
: You've recognized the gap. Seen it for what
: it is.

Hi Steve
"I suggest only that if you see the other shore, you are already there."
Well said. And where we disagree is that I think I can improve the depth and durability of my ability to see the other shore. For you it seems to be a matter that is fundamentally black and white.
Just because no further happiness is needed, (I am just fine the way I am), that does not necessarily discount the legitimacy of my increasing my ability to obtain more. Imo.
love,
