: It seems to me that even before the DDJ was

: Commentaries of the DDJ, by all of us, have

:
: Maybe, the cultivated answer must come from

:Greetings Steve,
I'll try and get you in my head, on how gar crosses a stream.
Ok, i want to get to the other side of this stream. Look around and see where the best way is to cross. I know from past experience that i could just cross right here and let wu-wei get me across. If by chance my ability is not up for the challenge, i could wind up dead.
So lets see, if in my cultivation of not just crossing where gar wants to cross, but realizing the right path could be the bridge down the road, then I can understand my personal desire to cross where i wanted to cross.
This brings me back to the many facets of gar that was discovered when mind was quiet and introspection was deep.
A side of gar want to cross the stream here because it's more manly, or adventurous. Another side of gar just wants to cross with minimal resistance.
So, in cultivating introspection gar can see what facet of gar wants to cross the stream and why.
You are right Steve, there is a lot of shit in gar's head.
in peace,
gar
