A fascinating interview. Thanks for posting it, josef.
I was (and remain) troubled by Obama's relationship with the Reverend Wright. His motivations for distancing himself from Wright during the campaign are still unclear to me. If his motivation was purely political in nature, then we may be in for a bumpy ride in the coming years.
The interview suggests, however, that our President-Elect has a sophisticated, carefully considered, view of the church/state divide.
That gives me hope.
