In Norse mythology, the first humanoid was a giant, Ymir who was formed by the cosmic bovine Audhumbla licking the rime ice. Ymir having both female and male reproductive organs, gave birth to another giant who in turn gave birth to three gods led by Odhinn. These gods slew poor old Ymir and created the cosmos from his/her body, in a manner similar to Pan Gu's, who in the pictures i've seen resembles the Greek god Pan.
