Thank you for these words jem, "Stop trying to live in harmony. Give up desire and expectation and confusion fades."
You made me think if i'm trying to live in harmony or just cultivating the mind to realize it's vastness.
As far as giving up desire, I'm reminded of Wing-Tsit Chan words, "The Tao is not for contemplation but for dilligent practice. The goal of Tao is not simply peace of mind or purity of heart but the full realization of all things." It seems to me that part of the realization of all things is that confusion is also the Tao.
