: Two questions:
:
: (1) What do you mean by "human love
: can be unnatural"?
:
: (2) Can you give an example of "humans
: can be in disharmony with dao by will"?
------------------
: unnatural - natural - do we have a tool for
: differentiating?
: we feel something as naturally if it is in
: line with the flow of circumstances...
: more intuitionally...than rationally
: it makes no sense to give examples - what i
: feel to be unnatural love - understanding is
: dependent on knowing the circumstances...
: shuowen gives an fascinating explanation for
: 'good'
: chang2 yan3 qie
: it is swinging in the flow
: --
: if ever you have felt the difference between
: of being in the flow and acting just
: according a personal benefit then there will
: be a window for understanding...
--------------------
It seems to me that there you are assigning 'goodness' to being 'like the Dao' (in the flow) and 'badness' to acting solely for personal benefit (not in the flow). It may be useful for me to tend this way or that, but that has nothing to do with my being 'in the flow' with the Dao.
Saying that you are 'out of the flow' of the Dao is like saying that your nose is 'out of the flow' of your face.
It's all in the eye of the beholder, I think.
