If what you are trying to say is what J. Krishnamurti said about paths, then we may actually be in agreement more than either of us might suspect.

From this perspective, our only choice is to give up our choices. But even choicelessness starts with a choice. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
Freedom is pure observation without direction. Freedom is without motive. Without a prescribed method. Freedom is the destination. The journey is the destination. Freedom is wu-wei.
