Greetings Josef,
While shoveling snow and carrying water this morning i thought how we can have direct experience and thoughtful experience.
It seems to me that our brains are more that just a data collecting processor because it likes to entertain itself with analysis.
The practice of observing this analysis goes back to data collecting and then completing the circle with analysis. This is how i polish the mirror.
in peace,
gar

: Yes, I trust our experiences. Experience
: trumps theory, always.
:
: Do you trust my experience and hold it
: equally valid to yours, josef?
:
: No, I don't hold yours equally valid to
: mine. I don't know you well enough. I have
: a neighbor who absolutely experiences
: rejection at ever turn, by her accounts.
: What I see is she has unrealistic
: expectations of how people should be there
: for her at all times.
:
: We each can only trust our own experience,
: and, if we mature and honest, only that in
: direct ratio to how clear we are about
: what's illusory and what isn't.
