rat,
The Bouncing Buddha. Too bad he can't run for president.
I saw a picture of the Dalai Lama and Pope John Paul once. In it they were both laughing their asses off. Can I say that? They had a bond of good will towards each other that transcended any differences they might have had, imo. Or as Thich Nhat Hanh has suggested, Jesus and Buddha are brothers. Such men are great irregardless of their particular world view in my opinion. I think if the Buddha and Jesus and Rumi and Chuang Tzu had of been in the picture there would have been more of the same. Uncontrollable laughter. Laughter is the language of the gods. You are wise old rat.
"God appears to Adam and Eve in the Garden and announces that he has two gifts for each of them, and he would like them to decide who gets which gift. He says, "The first gift is the ability to pee standing up."
Impulsively, Adam yells out, "Pee standing up! Hot dog! That sounds really cool. I want that one."
"Okay", says God, "that one's yours, Adam. Eve, you get the other one--multiple orgasms."
