Launcher dosent work

Hi, I've just downloaded the ZDoom launcher toady, and while it looks like an awesome program, whenever I try to set up a game with my brother's PC, we get a ZDOOM FATAL ERROR that dosent let us start playing. Any word on what Im doing wrong? Also, could you keep replys simple, Im very bad with the networking jargon.
