ZDLaunch 2.6a problem

Hi there,
ZDLaunch is unable to start ZDoom, if zdlaunch.ini was present at the time ZDLaunch was run. That is, I can run it, then I close it, it saves the .ini file, and, next time, when I start ZDLaunch, it does not start ZDoom until I dlete zdlaunch.ini.
The author is incommunicado. Any help out there?
