I bought a Weimaraner puppy from the pound 3 mo.s ago and he is a great loving happy puppy but i'm having a few problems with him. First off i'm an at home mom 24/7 and take constant care of my puppy ( now 5 mo's old ). He is my bestfriend and a great companion, his name is Skyler. Skyler sleeps with me and my husband and does almost everything with us. First thing in the morning I let him outside to use the bathroom. Every two hours after that I take him out to use the bathroom, but still if I turn my head for a second then he will poop or pee on the floor. I have used many methods of training to find the right one. I started with and am very consistant with crate training ( which is my bedroom) and that works well. He will not go to the bathroom in my bedroom. Second method that I have tried when I catch him using the bathroom on the floor is a loud NO NO BAD BOY!! Then I take him outside. After I seen that was not working then I tried taking him to the spot and holding his nose close to it while telling him NO NO YOU GO POTY OUTSIDE!! Then again I take him outside. Yes he does use the bathroom outside every time I take him but still use's the floor inside too...HELP PLEASE!! I love this dog but if I cant get him to stop going inside then I'll haft to get rid of him, and I would hate to do that. He dont want to be moved outside, he love's to be inside with our family. What should I try next?
