My 13 month old weim has been peeing in her crate for some time now and we cannot get her to stop. She can hold it and has in the past as a pup but for the past month she has been going to the bathroom whenever she is in the crate, where it is a half and hour or 7 hours. We have always put blankets in the crate with her and felt that maybe taking them out would make her stop going. And it did...except now when we get home the bottom of the crate is covered in doggy droole!!! It is quite gross! There is a layer of wet spit on the bottom of her crate and we have no clue how it gets there!!! She also hates going in to the crate without a blanket and I will have to force her in, but when there is a blanket in there she just walks right in!!! She enjoys licking but it seems a little extreme to find so much saliva at the end of the day! Has this happened to anyone else? Any advise???
