Hi Everyone,
I'm new to posting even though I've been lurking for some time. I have two Weims, half brother and sister (4 months and 6 months) and they are wonderful. I have a problem and would like to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. Shelby, my oldest, had bloody diarrhea, heaving, girggling stomach....anyway we took her to the Emergency Clinic and two days and $1500 later we were told it was colitis. They gave us anti-biotics and a low residue food for her. She has been on the meds and diet (by the book!) for a day an a half and the girggling (sp?) started again this morning...she acted like she had a tummy ache, pacing, eatting grass (we stopped her because the dr. said that would hurt her tummy). Now she's on no food/water for 12 hours.......has this happened to anyone? Oh, blockages were totally ruled out.....
