Thank you Eileen, I will give those options a try. I'm not just looking for people who want to own a weim, I'm looking for people that know about weims. I've got two fantastic dogs, both in blood and genetics, and will be looking only for the right people
: hi david,
: you could become a member of weimaraner club of america and when the litter is
: nominated for the futurity, people looking for litters, will check those
: listings to see what's available. you could also run an ad in the wca. there
: is a list of weim breeders who are members of weimaraner club of america and
: they encourage members of wca to list upcoming litters with all the particulars.
: do you belong to any organization, like nstra, navhda or a local hunt club?
: word of mouth can help there.
: we sold a pup from our last litter to a woman on the weimaraner@yahoogroup.com.
: we had both been members of that list for quite a while and she had seen the
: sire of the litter and was interested in a pup. so by the both of us being
: active in weims and on the yahoo weim group, she got a nice pup, and we got
: terrific puppy owners. hth

: I'm getting ready to have a litter of weim puppies here in Montana. There is no
: WCA chapter here. I did all of the genetic testing and my dogs came back with
: fantastic penn hip scores and elbows. I was wondering if anyone knew the best
: way to get the word out for the northwest and central parts of the country. All
: ideas would be great. I don't want to just put them in the papers.
