The Weim Rescue group is offering for auction at Ebay the 1938
edition of the American Kennel Club Blue Book of Dogs (now called The
AKC Dog Book). It has some water damage to the cover and to the
inside, but all the pages are legible. The book measures 13 X 9
inches.
A description taken from the book is as follows. This volume is
dedicated to the outstanding dogs of 1937, as shown by the records of
the American Kennel Club
The right to appear in this volume, as
the owner of one of the outstanding dogs of the year, has been won by
performance, either in the ring, or in the field, during the year
1937.

separate sections on Bench Dogs, on Racing Greyhounds, and on Field
Trials and Obedience Work. The top dogs of the day in each
discipline are featured with great photos and commentary.
