The guy begs no one bother him or Trumpeter about stuff. OK, cool - BUT - I am curious. When he says “those of you in the Titanic world,” while referring to I assume voluminous complaints to him and/or Trumpeter of the 1/200 Titanic, what exactly is wrong with that kit? I know Trumpeter’s initial test shot had a bow form that was too sharply raked, which Trumpeter corrected before final release. Anything else so bad with that kit? Sorry to change subject. I too am excited about 1/200 Fletchers.
Midwest Model Shop has posted a review of Trumpeter's intended 1:200 scale Fletcher (Fletcher, Stevens, and The Sullivans). He notes with caveats (several times) that this is only a TEST SHOT. Not all sprues shown, no PE, no instructions.

His review flags missing bilge keels and a (possibly) minor hull shear issue. All in all it looks good. Definitely a buildable kit. He gave it a late third or fourth quarter 2024 date
The selection of the as-launched Fletcher, the catapult equipped Stevens, and the anti-kamikaze Sullivans limits your choices if you wish to build one of the bog-standard round- or square-bridge mid-war Flechers out of the box. Yes, the aftermarket guys may step in.
Jeff Herne, in comments posted to the youtube channel, notes the same and makes some additional observations as to issues.
