So many comments. I'll hold off on some until more than initial test shots are available.
First off, the commentator in the video was only upset that the bilge keels are missing. A valid issue, but if you are going to make an accurate "full-hull" FLETCHER, for any period, including all the openings and sensors (acoustic) needs to be included. Attached is a series of images of USS A. W. GRANT (DD-649) docking plans dating in 1952. The sonar is one of the typical late WWII Retractable QJB sonars being retrofitted to FLETCHER's in place of the fixed QCJ or QCL sonars at the same frame except it was on the portside of the keel.
The hull had better be accurate, I sent "someone" the hull counters and offsets to be forwarded to "someone unnamed else". And told them to buy my two books for photos.
Oh ... anyone reading Jeff Herne's comments about the FLETCHER class, take them with a grain of salt. He has MANY errors. Such as the myth that some FLETCHER's had two rudders. Didn't happen. Hull photos of the supposed units show only the typical single rudder. Also, there were SIX FLETCHER's (DD476-481) designated to be aircraft-handling, with FOUR units having a catapult installed. However, USS STANLY's catapult was removed one week after being installed. Also, the three units actually equipped with a catapult all did serve in operational service. USS PRINGLE actually escorted a convoy in the North Atlantic (but didn't operate the seaplane). USS STEVENS and HALFORD operated with a carrier Task Force, but didn't see combat. USS HUTCHINS, PRINGLE, and STANLY lost their catapults and had the 53 mount installed, without the deckhouse between the 53 and 54 mounts, and saw a lot of combat.
I do concur that Trumpeter should include parts for the Standard Mid-War 10-40mm gun configuration in the kits.

Midwest Model Shop has posted a review of Trumpeter's intended 1:200 scale Fletcher (Fletcher, Stevens, and The Sullivans). He notes with caveats (several times) that this is only a TEST SHOT. Not all sprues shown, no PE, no instructions.

His review flags missing bilge keels and a (possibly) minor hull shear issue. All in all it looks good. Definitely a buildable kit. He gave it a late third or fourth quarter 2024 date
The selection of the as-launched Fletcher, the catapult equipped Stevens, and the anti-kamikaze Sullivans limits your choices if you wish to build one of the bog-standard round- or square-bridge mid-war Flechers out of the box. Yes, the aftermarket guys may step in.
Jeff Herne, in comments posted to the youtube channel, notes the same and makes some additional observations as to issues.
