No, the Kreigsmarine did not use a prefix - and nor (officially) did the Japanese Navy during the Second World War (although HIJMS was sometimes used). The Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) used SMS (Seiner Majestät Schiff). Whilst Wikipedia is not always reliable, this may help:

I can't believe I need to know this, but apparently I do- Did ships of the DKM have a national identifier in front of their names, like USS, HMS or HIJMS? I thought they were identified as say, DKM Bismarck, but I also recall reading somewhere that they used something like SMK.
