Iron Shipwrights has good customer service and is very good about replacing parts that aren't up to scratch. I've run into big globs of resin in the bridge wings of the frigate to casting inperfections on the "wooden deck" section of a battleship. Very irritating problems to have to fix. They have some excellent subjects and if they could fix some of the quality control problems they'd be world beaters. Atlantic Models is a small company as well but its kits are always perfect with superb fit and I've yet to run into one with a flaw. Atlantic should be the template for small model making companies.

Greetings guys, I am just wondering if anyone has had any issues with Iron shipwrights kits??? Has anyone else received parts all broken in bags resembling "kitty litter"? I am disappointed to say the least, and don't want to "run down" anyone, but I even emailed them expressing my problem only to be ghosted..I have the New Mexico kit, near $400 bucks, for that you should be able to build the model.. any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated..
