I'm not surprised by this and nor will anyone who has ever dealt with Dragon, but it is a head shaker. I'm building the Dragon Scharnhorst and discovered the instructions appear to call for the use of part N21 11 times, but the kit only provides 8 N21's.
I laid this out very clearly in a message to Dragon and got this longwinded response about providing photos plus a receipt that I bought the kit from one of their authorized dealers if I was to be deemed "eligible" for spares. I don't keep receipts that long and don't know of too many people who would. It's an easy part to scratch build and I was mostly pointing it out so they could correct for future re-releases. The smart response would have been "What's your address we'll send you some replacement parts" but they want photos to explain something they could easily verify by reading the usual confusing Dragon instructions. This explains why Dragon has been overtaken by up to a dozen new modelling companies.
