Still really nice helicopters!
AFV Club also makes kit # SE70010:

Has MH-60R, MQ-8B & C Firescouts, and OH-58D Kiowa Warriors
I got this kit primarily for those Kiowa Warriors, to be honest. I've other (PitRoad) US Army helos, and these complete my set. It is nice to have the more modern Navy choppers, too. Nice to finally have actual MH-60R, as opposed to the older SH-60B, to put with the MH-60S from Trumpeter.
Here is the kit Bill has mentioned in the original post:

These kits were announced in about late September. AFV is a Taiwan company, and only about two weeks after they were announced, an eBay seller in Taiwan started selling them, indicating he had some in stock. I bought one. Got it in October. Places like HLJ listed them for "December realease," and last I looked before Christmas, they still were not officially released yet. However, two eBay sellers from Taiwan, and the AFV Club selling site have more-or-less regularly had them in stock, and the AFV Facebook page had photos of cardboard shipping boxes full of boxed kits. So, I don't know what this game is. They're either "not released," or "just releasing," but have been available since October if (like me) you knew of them and really wanted one.
They are really nice helos!
Here they are for sale from the manufacturer:

Just received my AFV 1/700 SH-60B helos. Kit # SE70009. 12 helos to a kit. Ok big deal right? Well yes it is a big deal. Remember the very bland Skywave SH-60B in which you had to glue the individual front landing wheels on each side …well that is dead and buried.
Along came Hasegawa kit QG54 which offered 2 MCH-101s, 2 - MV-22 giving two options stowed and ready for flight along with 2 very nicely detailed SH-60B with a simplified one piece forward landing gear and all the outside sensors and torpedo. Very nice almost excellent for my Reagan Navy but for one fault. No folding rear tail boom. If you wanted to fold the tail boom you had to cut the boom and the one piece stabilizer and from photos figure out what went where. No thanks. Nuff problems with putting pants on flys.
The AFV kit offers 12 Helos. 8 with boom tail ready for flight and 4 with boom tails folded. Landing gear is molded on and is not shabby. Same outside sensors as the Hasegawa offering.
Ok downside HobbyEasy does not have them when I looked a few weeks ago. They are going for top dollar on E-Bay or maybe it is just inflation and I have not caught up.
For me less work and more realistic detail for my Perrys, SpruCans and Ticos.
