How I do it.
Depending on what paint you use you could use alcohol or thinner. First I wipe the cup clean and was coats of thinner through the air brush. I then disassemble the nozzle and let it soak in a small container of thinner. The needle is removed and I wipe it down with thinner. I then take the nozzle out of the thinner and assemble it. I then reinstall the needle and shoot more thinner through the brush onto a clean cloth/towel to see if it comes out clean. It always does. Keep in mind that air brushes are designed to push the paint one way.
Dual action AB.
I do not understand how paint is getting inside that barrel, back toward the trigger.
I am wondering if when I backwash cleaner if I am pushing the paint and cleaner back past the paint cup toward the trigger.
Getting awesome paint results these days overall.
