I clean the brush between every colour used too, so don't have this problem (n/t)
Personally I clean out my airbrush (Badger single action) between every color change. This includes running alcohol or a thinner(I shoot acrylic) through and then disassembling the brush. That way I'm sure I won't have a problem.
Currently using a Badger Spirit mostly, but any dual action ab I have used (cheaper Global or Paasche) I find paint has entered the barrel. With the Badger I have to squirt cleaner through the barrel as it is too narrow for a pipe cleaner.
I just wonder if I am forcing paint in there with the backwash.
Sully, what exactly is the brand and type this is so important
Dual action AB.
I do not understand how paint is getting inside that barrel, back toward the trigger.
I am wondering if when I backwash cleaner if I am pushing the paint and cleaner back past the paint cup toward the trigger.
Getting awesome paint results these days overall.
