Re: Cool Beans!!! But....
That's nice. Sounds like it's doing better than that 1/700 Hermes kit you had going a few years ago. LOL!
Glad to hear it, Snowflake. But it already HAS seen the light of day. These arenít cad renderings or 3d-prints like the others show you. And anyone can build models and add to their stash. Doesnít make you special. Heck, I still do that. And Iím long through being nice to people who dare to question my integrity. So Iím happy if you get one, but I am done with the abuse, Davey.
BTW Mikey - If your Colossus project does see the light of day, I will buy one. So you'd better be good to me..............
Been building models since I was nine. Right now I'm 65. Bought thousands of kits in my lifetime - ships, planes, cars, armor, sci-fi and TV / movies. Got about a thousand kits in my stash (including a couple of yours). Still adding to the stash. Not gonna die till I build 'em all. Any other stupid questions, Knucklehead ??
And yet weíre still here, with thousands of resin ship kits behind us (not to mention our model train products) and now weíre ditching resin for plastic; weíre on our third plastic project now! What have you done for the hobby, David???
Odd Ball is right, this board seems to be down to the whiny little b###hes of the hobby now. I feel bad for the rest of the good folks here who put up with it.
For the record, the Colossus project is an expensive investment thatís taken a year to get to this point. And I did it all MYSELF. I have done all the R&D work myself, did all the CAD design and engineering work myself, arranged for its manufacture myself and funded it all myself.
And unlike the others with their CAD renderings, we have made the announcement with actual tooling done and paid for, and actual plastic parts and a complete model. The hardest part is done and a few things are left to be done before the kit officially drops later this year.
25 years of IHP and counting
IHP doesn't really have a good track record of following up their announced projects, do they?
curious which Toms PE works for this kit...IF, it becomes available??
Thanks for your time.
