bonds well and dries fast but is too thin to hold parts in place.
Plus it smells quite toxic. Amazingly fast and strong bond. Doesn't seem to melt the plastic. Seems to work more like super glue.
This is a glue that you apply to seems that are clamped together.
I sometimes use a bit of gel plastic glue to hold a part in place and then apply this thin stuff to the seem.
Have not tried this one, but it's sure to please the wife!
Still trying to improve my skills.
Building Revell 1/700 USS Wasp. I am freaking out about using super glue to bond the 2 parts hull to the waterline plate.
By the time I apply the super glue to the end of the plate, the beginning will have dried off.
Or one small mistake and the kit will be ruined.
I tried using Elmer white glue to temporarily glue one part of the hull and when in place I would have super glued the inside of the hull to the plate but Elmer does not hold the bond. I washed the white glue off and am back to square one.
So looking for other options that bond well and give me more time to work with large parts.
