Re: Try Revell Contacta or Deluxe Products Plastic Magic
Thxs for clarifying.
It's a bit "hotter" than other cements. It works by capillary action, bonds strongly, but it can melt some styrenes more quickly than other glues.
Thxs a lot.
Why do you have to be careful with Deluxe Materials Plastic Magic?
Try Revell Contacta, but have a look at Deluxe Materials Plastic Magic. You've got to be careful using it, but with their needle applicators it's a great plastic cement.
In fact, most Deluxe Products are excellent, but often overlooked.
Still trying to improve my skills.
Building Revell 1/700 USS Wasp. I am freaking out about using super glue to bond the 2 parts hull to the waterline plate.
By the time I apply the super glue to the end of the plate, the beginning will have dried off.
Or one small mistake and the kit will be ruined.
I tried using Elmer white glue to temporarily glue one part of the hull and when in place I would have super glued the inside of the hull to the plate but Elmer does not hold the bond. I washed the white glue off and am back to square one.
So looking for other options that bond well and give me more time to work with large parts.
