Consider Model Master "Liquid Cement for Plastic Models", stock #8872 or #8872C.
It is a little thinner than red tube, plenty of working time and VERY easy to apply with little or no waste. This one advantage comes from its container which has a steel hypo type needle. (It is blunt so you can't stab yourself.)
The slightly higher cost, +/- $7., is more than offset by the ease of use and near zero waste.
It is sometimes listed under Testors.
Testors red tube. It has been recommended several times, is affordable and seems to meet my needs. Others recommended would work too. I wanted to buy Tamiya but after reading about it here I won't.
