Re: How is Tamiya cement? It has an applicator too.
Tamiya green top is a liquid cement. Works quickly by softening the plastic allowing parts to be welded together. I use it often On a long seam work in inch increments. It may not be what you are looking for if you need time to adjust
Tamiya also makes a glue in the lime green/yellow top which is a very volatile version of the standard green. A member of my club could not recommend it because it was too hot & evaporated too quickly
Tamiya also makes an orange tip glue which is supposed to be thicker & slower Have not used it
Still trying to improve my skills.
Building Revell 1/700 USS Wasp. I am freaking out about using super glue to bond the 2 parts hull to the waterline plate.
By the time I apply the super glue to the end of the plate, the beginning will have dried off.
Or one small mistake and the kit will be ruined.
I tried using Elmer white glue to temporarily glue one part of the hull and when in place I would have super glued the inside of the hull to the plate but Elmer does not hold the bond. I washed the white glue off and am back to square one.
So looking for other options that bond well and give me more time to work with large parts.
