I hope you are right. My understanding is that electronics are also not proof from hacking/cyber interference. Let us hope that these planes do not fall from the sky in any numbers. The basic idea is excellent, but execution is very complex and demanding.
All these aircraft crashed either in testing or when new to the flight line. Others went on to continue crashing well into active duty.
And the reason half the F-35 fleet is grounded is breakdown in the computerized diagnostic and parts ordering, lack of parts (when you build new planes you don't have money for spares), techs who know how to fix them in short supply, waiting upon software upgrades and of course pilots.
Blame the plane when many fall from the sky.
Dismal state of affairs...
