Why should have Bismarck survived the battle, if she would still have had an intact rudder? She was still outgunned compared to the British battleships, German shooting was not really constantly at a high level (already in the late phase of the Battle of Denmark Strait it was very poor, it would have been likely poorer because of fatigue), there were still several other possibilities for the British to attack (i.e. not only the battleships)...
Bismarck was not a superior ship, which could have beaten all the deployed British ships single handed. She was a pretty average battleship, based mainly on ideas from the First World War.
