Wow... seems like a lot of work.... but nice so far.
My problem is that it won’t look like a Pensacola as the bows were whose different between the Pensacola and Northampton classes.
Have you seen Vlad Cimpan's 1/700 1942 USS Pensacola made from the Tamiya Indianapolis kit? Its on the modelwarships WIP section, page 3.
Just dreaming here.... It sure would be great if someone made a 1/700 USS Pensacola (CA - 24) or USS Salt Lake City (CA-25) in their wartime fit.
I realize HP made them (had one - had to get rid of it when I saw the quality of the kit) and there were some other resin kit makers that made them (long out of production).
But, a new, up to date resin or plastic version of these cruisers would certainly fill a gap.
Just some Monday dreaming...
