It's likely that nobody else here has seen the actual model either. I'm sure someone who has it on order will do a review of sorts when they get theirs. So you may have to wait a month or two b-4 you get a satisfactory answer re: kit accuracy. I for one am happy that they have issued a 1/350 Exeter (and likely a 1942 version down the road) in addition to the York. I'm still waiting for the long-promised 1/350 Baltimore/Pittsburg to appear though.
As one who grew up in plastic modellings 'stone age' I have to say we are a pretty pampered group nowadays as far as our wants being fulfilled are concerned.
It looks like the Trumpy 1/350th Exeter has come up for preorder at Freetime. Has anyone seen any images of actual the model yet? I've been scouring the interwebs and haven't seen anything; box art yes, actual plastic no. Since Trumpeter either does most things right or a lot of things wrong when designing a model, I'd like to know about the accuracy of this model before committing to a preorder.
