The most famous regular user of that drydock is the USS Constitution and it still does. If one is ever in Boston, the yard and museum are a great take. Constitution just recently came out after an extensive refit.
The second regular user, though not in active commission,is the USS Cassin-Young, a late Fletcher class DD. It is in excellent condition, mostly thanks to a dedicated crew of volunteers. Both ships are open to the public. If modelers ever want to photograph a Fletcher for detail, this is a perfect subject.
There are others, but it would take a good deal of research to dig them up.The Boston Navy yard has an extensive and colorful history.
