That's great that you can do that. I don't need to work, but I just can't budget my time to save my life. Even when I have a day off and try to build all day, I start to get numb after 4 hours max, usually 2. I guess that's why they make different flavors of ice cream.
Don`t agree with your comment on withering and `checking out` Bob.
It is after all `horses for courses`
I retired 4.5 years ago, I`m only 61 mid.
I find there is plenty to do, I belong to a couple of volunteer organisations, the hobby, my research and home projects keep me entertained.
Most people work because they have to, not because they want to.
You work to live, not live for work.
As it stands now, the wife still brings the bacon home.
For me, after 41 years slog, they couldn`t pay me enough money to return to work, and quite frankly, they can stick their jobs.
