It comes in an 8.5” x 3.75” box with a drawing of the completed model on the top, painting instructions on the side, and the assembly instructions on the bottom. There are 42 parts in total on one sprue; the hull has the forecastle moulded in, the main deck and waterline plate are separate pieces. The deck features mine rails, skylights, and hatches; the hull has portholes with eyebrows, a raised plating strake, and recesses for the anchors. The hull is just less than 4.5” long.
Among the parts are hollow funnels with separate caps, twin and single torpedo tubes, masts, davits, and searchlights.
All the parts are moulded in grey and the moulded in detail is up to Flyhawk’s usual excellent standards.
This little gem will be a quick and easy build.
