Come on Felix,that is no a reason, training time,is just to lock on the target,the Baltimore is not so fast to make that count,or to cross a T ,they will be parallel mostly of the time ,the range handling is totally on the Baltimore but the Azimuth of the battle depends on the ship's handling.
Is more important the firing speed, Baltimore can fire 8 times in 2 minutes against 5 times in 2 min by the Scheer, even with that

: Baltimore only being exposed to one 11"
