Pat, I made a 1/6th scale .50 cal. A/C and printed it out in FUD. It came out great except for the barrel which has a distinct curve to it. It was sprued within the barrel jacket which came out dead straight. At 1/16th scale it is pretty substancial, solid except for a few full scale inches bore at the end. Do you have any tips? The only thing I can think of is to carry the bore all the way through in the hopes of it being structurally more resistant to warping. Thanks for any help.
: UV will further harden the plastic, should any
: uncured resin be left in the matrix.
: Heat may allow reforming...it is an acrylic,
: and should be heat formable...but good luck
: with that!
: Best is to take photos, complain to
: Shapeways customer service, and ask for a
: replacement. They're pretty good about that.
